How to Set Up a Webhook with Property Leads
Setting up a webhook allows you to automatically send leads from Property Leads to your CRM using Zapier or another webhook-supported platform. Below is a simple guide to set it up:
Step 1: Get Your Webhook URL from Zapier (or Your CRM)
- 1️⃣ Log into Zapier (or your CRM, if it provides a webhook).
- 2️⃣ Click “Create Zap” and select Trigger.
- 3️⃣ Search for “Webhooks by Zapier” (Premium) and select it.
- 4️⃣ Choose “Catch Hook” as the event (⚠️ Do not select “Catch Raw Hook”—the data will appear jumbled).
- 5️⃣ Click Continue and then Skip the next step.
- 6️⃣ Copy the webhook URL Zapier provides.
Step 2: Add Your Webhook to Property Leads
- 1️⃣ In Property Leads, navigate to “My Territories.”
- 2️⃣ Click “Update Delivery Methods.”
- 3️⃣ Paste your webhook URL into the Webhook field.
- 4️⃣ Click “Send Test Lead” to verify the connection.
Step 3: Confirm the Webhook in Zapier
- 1️⃣ Return to Zapier and click “Test Trigger.”
- 2️⃣ If the test lead appears, you're all set!
- 3️⃣ If not, click “Find New Records” in Zapier and send another test lead from Property Leads.
Step 4: Connect Your CRM to Zapier
- 1️⃣ Click “Continue with Selected Record.”
- 2️⃣ Choose your CRM from Zapier (e.g., GoHighLevel/LeadConnector).
- 3️⃣ Select an event such as Create Contact or Create Opportunity, depending on your CRM’s options.
- 4️⃣ Connect your CRM to Zapier (you may need to log in).
- 5️⃣ Map the test lead fields from Property Leads to the corresponding fields in your CRM.
- 6️⃣ Click “Test Step” to send a sample lead to your CRM.
- 7️⃣ If everything looks correct, click “Publish Zap.”
