Metro County Territory FAQ
Property Leads is introducing a new lead filtering option called Metro County Territory. This filter is designed to help investors focus on federally designated metropolitan counties while reducing exposure to rural opportunities often found within the National lead type.
Why launch Metro County Territory? Many investors have shared that rural properties can be more challenging to monetize due to lower buyer demand, limited exit strategies, and longer sales cycles. Metro County Territory was created to help partners focus on higher-opportunity markets while still keeping National leads available.
Frequently Asked Questions
- What does “Metro County” actually mean? Metro Counties are identified using federally designated metropolitan counties. The purpose of this filter is to try to remove as many rural leads as possible that you would normally get in the National lead type.
- Does Metro County Territory replace National? No. This lead filter is in addition to National leads. You can choose to bid on the Metro County level and/or the National level.
- Can I run Metro County and National together? Yes. You can bid on both lead types.
- Will National leads still include all counties? Yes. National leads will include every county in the country.
- How do I add the Metro County Territory? You will see the option to bid on Metro County leads under “Add More Territories.”
- Can I pick and choose counties inside Metro County Territory? No. At this point, this option is only available for Metro Counties on the National level. If you have specific counties you are targeting, you can bid on those directly.
- Where can I view the counties included in Metro County Territory? You can view all the Metro Counties included by viewing this map: https://metrocounties.propertyleads.com/
- What is the starting bid for Metro County Territory? Starting bid for Metro Counties will be $75 and bid increases in increments of $12.50.
- Who do Metro County leads work best for? Metro County leads work best for investors who work National leads and do not have consistent strategies to monetize rural leads.
Tip: If you are currently using National but have struggled with rural properties, Metro County Territory may be a better fit. If you are comfortable working rural leads and want broader coverage, National may still make sense as part of your strategy.
