How Do I Set Up a Webhook to Send Leads to My CRM?

Setting up a webhook allows you to automatically send leads from Property Leads to your CRM using Zapier or another webhook-supported platform. Below is a simple guide to get it set up.

Step 1: Get Your Webhook URL from Zapier (or Your CRM)

Section titled “Step 1: Get Your Webhook URL from Zapier (or Your CRM)”
  • 1️⃣ Log into Zapier (or your CRM, if it provides a webhook).
  • 2️⃣ Click “Create Zap” and select Trigger.
  • 3️⃣ Search for “Webhooks by Zapier” (Premium) and select it.
  • 4️⃣ Choose “Catch Hook” as the event. ⚠️ Do not select “Catch Raw Hook” or the data may appear jumbled.
  • 5️⃣ Click Continue and then Skip the next step.
  • 6️⃣ Copy the webhook URL Zapier provides.

Step 2: Add Your Webhook to Property Leads

Section titled “Step 2: Add Your Webhook to Property Leads”
  • 1️⃣ In Property Leads, navigate to “My Territories.”
  • 2️⃣ Click “Update Delivery Methods.”
  • 3️⃣ Paste your webhook URL into the Webhook field.
  • 4️⃣ Click “Send Test Lead” to verify the webhook connection only.

For email and SMS alert testing limits and the separate Live Transfer test, see testing your delivery methods.

  • 1️⃣ Return to Zapier and click “Test Trigger.”
  • 2️⃣ If the test lead appears, you’re all set!
  • 3️⃣ If not, click “Find New Records” in Zapier and send another test lead from Property Leads.
  • 1️⃣ Click “Continue with Selected Record.”
  • 2️⃣ Choose your CRM from Zapier (e.g., GoHighLevel/LeadConnector).
  • 3️⃣ Select an event such as Create Contact or Create Opportunity, depending on your CRM’s options.
  • 4️⃣ Connect your CRM to Zapier. You may need to log in.
  • 5️⃣ Map the test lead fields from Property Leads to the corresponding fields in your CRM.
  • 6️⃣ Click “Test Step” to send a sample lead to your CRM.
  • 7️⃣ If everything looks correct, click “Publish Zap.”

For a GoHighLevel walkthrough and its activity/reply-sync limits, see How to Connect GoHighLevel to Zapier.

When a lead is sent through the webhook, Property Leads may include the following fields. These can be mapped to the corresponding contact, opportunity, or custom fields inside your CRM.

Section titled “Is Consent Information Included in the Webhook?”

No. We collect and store consent records internally, but we do not currently include them in webhook delivery. If you have a concern about a lead’s consent, contact Support; we can supply available consent information manually.

  • To stop sending leads to a webhook, simply delete the webhook URL in Property Leads, click Save, and the integration will be removed.
